Lauralee Thach
Planning Intern
Hailing from Cincinnati, Lauralee came to us via the Amtrak train to spend four months exploring the American Southwest, learning about landscape architecture, and contributing to our team as a planning intern. Inspired by a desire to help others on a large scale, Lauralee’s talent in urban planning has already garnered them publication in a planning book: Managing the Urban Environment – Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a prestigious award: the Gina Tirinnanzi Memorial Scholarship by APA New Urbanism Division. A casual bike enthusiast, they can be seen riding to the office with their pink hair flying. In an alternate timeline they would be working as a grassroots community activist using gardening, partying, and tactical urbanism as their primary community-building tools… or maybe working for Amtrak!
