Moyin Akinbobola, Associate ASLA
Landscape Designer
A champion of balance, Moyin enjoys relaxing and unwinding by watching movies, spending time in the natural world, and avoiding hospitals (a fear since childhood that axed her dreams of studying medicine). Since reworking her dream to focus on landscape architecture, (self-described as one of the best decisions she’s ever made) Moyin has come to deeply appreciate her ability to shape outdoor spaces that people can enjoy and connect with. She finds meaning in working collaboratively, and recently won the Texas ASLA Student Design Award for a group project. She also worked on a student group project with the Oakmont Estates neighborhood association in Lubbock to develop a resilient landscape strategy to enhance both the drainage system and the aesthetic appeal of the neighborhood.
