Linley Green, PLA, ASLA
Landscape Architect
Linley grew up in Albuquerque and earned her BFA in Painting from the University of New Mexico. After school, she spent some time in Taos before moving to New York City, where she worked in the security department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for nearly five years. While the job location was inspirational, she started to feel the need to escape the big city and spend more time in parks and outdoor spaces. She began taking horticulture classes at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, which ultimately prompted her decision to return to the West and pursue a career in landscape architecture. After completing her MLA at Cal Poly Pomona, she moved home to the Land of Enchantment and joined Pland in 2021. She is passionate about designing spaces that thoughtfully connect communities to their environment and enhance ecosystem services using green stormwater infrastructure and ecologically sensitive plant palettes. She emphasizes regionally grounded design and uses GIS analysis, landscape ecology principles, and participatory design skills to inform her work.
