Brian Verardo, PLA, ASLA, LEED AP
Principal Landscape Architect
A major ice hockey fan, Brian's stealth and dexterity prove fundamental in both his design practice and in his favorite sport. Wait - people play ice hockey in New Mexico? Brian does. Landscape architect by day, beer league ice hockey star by night, Brian has over twenty years of experience working for private sector landscape architecture firms. He loves to create special places for people to spend time in the outdoors. Whether it is walking from classroom to classroom on a college campus, socializing on a patio, or playing in a park, he appreciates the opportunity to connect people with the natural world in unique and meaningful ways. His proudest accomplishment is playing a role in taking a forty-plus year-old firm into its second generation of leadership and seeing it thrive. Brian's professional achievements don't stop at Principal, his diverse experience has officially earned him the position of CIO in the firm – that's "Chief Ice Officer", and it suits him.
