Thea Swift, Associate ASLA

Thea is an adventure seeker and an analytical thinker – demonstrated on a solo backpacking trip when she learned the hard way that quicksand is real and not just an 80's horror movie plot. She also loves bike rides, backpacking, and camping. While she considered a few different career paths during school, she quickly discovered that landscape architecture was the perfect fit. For Thea it's all about the balance of art and analytics, the bridge between community and social justice, and landscapes that not only define those who experience them, but also successfully identify a sense of place. She feels inspired and energized by working with like-minded people in the industry who are addressing meaningful landscapes for our communities, and honestly, we feel the same about working with Thea!
