Pland worked with Los Alamos County and BerryDunn on the 2022 Community Services Department Integrated Master Plan. This plan identifies and assesses existing recreational programs, services, and facilities and looks at future needs. The final plan is a roadmap to systematically invest, maintain, and improve County parks, recreation facilities, open space areas, trails, libraries, and cultural and social services. It also focuses on establishing best practices and prioritizing the community’s needs. The Pland team was tasked with the trailhead assessment and cost estimating of park and trail-related projects as part of this project. One of the plan’s recommendations is the creation of the Open Space and Trails Management Plan.
