Landscape Designer Amanda Champion’s passion for landscape architecture roots from her enthusiasm for gardening, public health, environmental activism and community building. A recent graduate of UNM’s Landscape Architecture program, Champion counts completing their Master’s Project with Distinction as one of their top shelf accomplishments to date, along with having the same best friend for over 15 years after meeting in a middle school English class.A birder, hobby fermenter/pickler, and traveler, Champion loves exploring New Mexico and the far reaches of the globe. At 21-years-old, she spent four months in Madagascar studying, learning Malagasy, and spotting lemurs and chameleons.
