Marketing Professional

Pland Collaborative is a full-service landscape architecture and planning firm based in Albuquerque, NM with a branch office in Lubbock, TX. We are a forward-looking team that seeks to bring public awareness and innovation to the design of outdoor spaces in our changing world. We employ a holistic approach from initial concepts to final details, ensuring sophisticated, integrated solutions for even the most complex projects.

The Opportunity

We seek a qualified and motivated Marketing Professional for an immediate, full-time position in our Albuquerque or Lubbock office with occasional travel to Lubbock (if working in Albuquerque) or Albuquerque (if working in Lubbock). Remote or hybrid work may be considered for the right candidate. Must be creative, up to date on new technologies, adaptable, self-motivated, quick, organized, and interested in participating in a broad range of activities that directly and indirectly support the growth, culture, and day to day activities of the firm. Candidates must have excellent critical thinking, writing and graphic skills.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in either Marketing/Communications, English, Graphic Design or a related design field. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office software is required.  Knowledge of the architecture and engineering (AE) industry is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee and manage competitive proposal preparation procedures, including, but not limited to:
    • Conduct opportunity searches (find relevant RFPs to pursue), analyze RFP requirements, guide GO/NO GO process
    • Lead proposal startup meetings, develop proposal management plan, contribute to proposal strategies
    • Coordinate with firm leadership to assemble proposal teams, recommending internal and/or external resources, as needed
    • Collaborate with external team members such as architects, engineers, and other consultants to request or provide qualifications for proposal content
    • Direct and participate in writing/editing/rewriting efforts, as needed
    • Identify and coordinate proposal graphical content and formatting
    • Maintain and update internal proposal materials and stock content
    • Continually improve processes and streamline efficiencies in proposal development
    • Assist with fee proposal pricing strategy
    • Ensure on-time submission of all proposals and qualifications
    • Track and follow-up on submitted proposals
    • Conduct market research and analysis through RFP tracking to identify target markets, customer insights, and emerging trends, translating findings into actionable marketing strategies.
    • Manage the firm's digital presence, including search engine optimization (SEO), and maintaining and updating the firm’s website and social media platforms with engaging and relevant content.
    • Produce high-quality social media content, including blog posts, white papers, social media posts, and videos that showcase our technological innovations.
    • Develop marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and promotional materials, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity.
    • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, such as website traffic, social media analytics, and lead generation, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement. 
    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
    • Lead the planning and execution of participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events, coordinating logistics, booth design, and collateral production.
    • Assist in the preparation and submission of award nominations and industry recognition initiatives.
    • Collaborate with internal team members to gather project information and create compelling marketing content.
    • Collaborate with external vendors, such as graphic designers, printers, and photographers, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy and vision to enhance brand awareness, promote our landscape architecture and planning services, and drive lead generation.
    • Foster relationships with industry partners, associations, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility, secure speaking engagements, guest articles, and other opportunities for thought leadership.
    • Support the development of marketing budgets and track expenses to ensure cost-effective execution of marketing initiatives.

Physical Requirements 

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
  • Stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear regularly.
  • Sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
  • Have hand dexterity to file documents and use office equipment.
  • Have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect

Pland Collaborative brings 50 years of experience in innovative landscape architecture and planning services to West Texas.  We seek a creative, energetic, self-motivated Landscape Designer or licensed Landscape Architect to support our growing Lubbock office.  This is a project management level position and requires the ability to independently provide a full range of landscape architectural services on projects of all sizes.  This position will be responsible for mentoring, organizing, and directing junior-level staff; preparing and coordinating complete construction documents, including technical specifications, bidding documents, and cost estimates; evaluating, selecting, and approving materials and products; assisting with day-to-day construction administration activities, working with other staff members in a team environment and independently collaborating and communicating with clients and allied professionals.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience.
  • Licensure preferred
  • Proficiency in SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and MS Office software.
  • Thorough plant knowledge.
  • Ability to develop complete irrigation system plans and details.
  • Strong writing and graphic skills and the ability to learn new skills quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to take personal initiative in the work environment.
